The fourth season of the popular Apple TV+ show Ted Lasso has officially begun filming. Filming has started in Kansas City, Missouri, and will move to London. The cast will include both returning fan-favorite actors and fascinating new ones, which will give the Emmy-winning comedy a new direction.

Lasso Returns: A New Chapter Begins

Ted Lasso Season 4 is now in the works, and filming has already begun in Kansas City, which is where star Jason Sudeikis grew up. This is a big change from the show’s prior London setting, which suggests that the story will go in a different path after Ted Lasso returns to the US at the end of Season 3. Later on, the show will move to London to film further scenes.

Ted’s toughest task this season will be coaching a women’s football team in Richmond that is in the second division.

The story will look at the ideas of taking risks and jumping before looking.

Behind the Scenes: The Creative Team Grows

Jack Burditt, who won an Emmy for Nobody Wants This and 30 Rock, is joining the project as an executive producer as part of a new overall partnership with Apple TV+. Jason Sudeikis is still both the star and the executive producer. Joe Kelly, Jane Becker, Jamie Lee, and Bill Wrubel are also back on the creative team. Brett Goldstein will still be a writer and executive producer, along with Leanne Bowen. Sarah Walker and Phoebe Walsh are back as writers and co-executive producers. Sasha Garron is also a co-producer. Julia Lindon is a writer, while Dylan Marron is the narrative editor. Bill Lawrence is the executive producer through Doozer Productions, which works with Warner Bros. Television and Universal Television.

A History of Success

Since its release in 2020, Ted Lasso has been a huge hit for Apple TV+, getting a lot of praise from critics and winning a lot of awards. The show got 61 Emmy nominations and won 13 of them over its first three seasons. It won Outstanding Comedy Series and individual acting honors for Jason Sudeikis and Brett Goldstein. During the pandemic, people really connected with the show’s sincere message of hope and generosity.

Even though there isn’t a release date for Season 4 yet, people are excited about the return of the AFC Richmond crew and the new adventures that await them.
