WWE has teamed up with Fandango, the biggest online ticket seller, to offer its Premium Live Events (PLEs) to theaters all around the country. The first event in this partnership is SummerSlam 2025, which will take place over two nights. Fans can see the exciting action on the big screen at select Regal Cinemas.
WWE Shows SummerSlam on the Big Screen
WWE has teamed up with Fandango to show its Premium Live Events in theaters, which will change the way fans watch live entertainment. The first event under this new arrangement will be SummerSlam 2025, which will take place on Saturday, August 2, and Sunday, August 3, at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. Fans all throughout the U.S. will be able to see the event live at certain Regal Cinemas.
This cooperation is a big step toward giving WWE fans a more immersive viewing experience beyond just streaming at home.
A Multi-Event Collaboration
WWE and Fandango are working together on more than one event, and this SummerSlam theater experience is only the start. Regal Cinemas will be the main theater partner for SummerSlam 2025, but other theater chains are also interested in joining in on future WWE Premium Live Events. This shows that WWE has a plan to make its events more accessible and community-oriented for fans in the long term.
Ticket Options and Perks
Fans who want to go to the SummerSlam movie event have a lot of different ticket options:
You can buy a single-night ticket for either Saturday, August 2nd, or Sunday, August 3rd.
Two-Night Ticket Bundle: Get into both screenings and get a special SummerSlam t-shirt, thanks to Fanatics.
You may get tickets right now on Fandango.
Executive Excitement About the Partnership
Both WWE and Fandango’s top people are excited about this new project:
“One of the most exciting global entertainment brands is WWE, and its events should be seen on the big screen,” said Will McIntosh, President of Fandango. We’re excited to join with WWE and Regal Cinemas to bring the action-packed SummerSlam 2025 movie to fans all throughout the country.
Brooks LeBoeuf, Regal Cinemas’ Senior Vice President of US Content, said, “WWE has changed the way fans interact with live entertainment, and bringing SummerSlam to Regal’s screens takes that experience to a whole new level.” We are pleased to work with WWE and Fandango to bring this exciting, immersive event to theaters. Fans will feel like they are ringside no matter where they are.
Expected SummerSlam Match-Up
A highly anticipated rematch from WrestleMania 41 will take place at SummerSlam 2025. It will be Undisputed WWE Champion John Cena vs. Cody Rhodes. The event will also be streamed live at 6 PM ET/3 PM PT only on Peacock in the U.S. and on Netflix around the world, giving fans all over the world more ways to watch.
